I definitely think that this class was one of the most helpful and practical classes I have taken throughout my grad school career so far. I have enjoyed doing all of the skills assignments - especially the audio assignment and the video assignment. In addition, I loved creating the WebQuest. I had never really done much with WebQuests prior to this class, but my eyes have been opened to how amazing these types of projects can be for the classroom. They promote critical thinking, encourage technology proficiency, and give students ownership over their own learning. I am excited about introducing the possibilities that WebQuests can bring next year when I lead staff development for my school.
I also loved how much collaboration Ms. Roberts allowed in this class. Bouncing my project ideas off of my peers really helped me develop a solid project. I really liked the fact that we were required to collaborate with one another every two weeks. That really helped me stay on track throughout this project design.
Finally, I loved that this course introduced me to some basic coding. I have not really done much with coding in the past, but it was a lot of fun to at least get my feet wet when it comes to how to code. I am excited to hopefully do more coding in the future.
